Lymphatic Drainage treatments at Moonseed Massage offer traditional hands on therapy as a path toward balance, lightness and hormonal harmony. We offer:

The lymphatic system plays a quiet but essential role in how a woman’s body feels day to day - from fluid retention and bloating to energy levels, immunity, and the subtle shifts of hormones through each month and each season of life. 

My lymphatic sessions use the traditional hands on methods inspired by both the therapeutic techniques of The Vodder Method and the hormone balancing, body-contouring techniques of Brazilian-style Lymphatic Drainage. These sessions support circulation, reduce puffiness and help your body feel lighter and more balanced. I have advanced trainings in these methods and have been practicing lymphatic drainage for three years now. 

These sessions are especially helpful during times of hormonal fluctuation, chronic stress, inflammation, or when you simply feel “stuck” in your body.

Moonseed Massage Lymphatic Drainage services are held in the Inverness, IL office and serve the Northwest Suburbs of IL. Inverness, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, and Barrington, IL.

  • Lymphatic massage is especially supportive for:

    • bloating and water retention

    • hormonal changes (cycle shifts, perimenopause, postpartum)

    • sluggish digestion

    • immune system support

    • inflammation and puffiness

    • chronic stress that leaves the body feeling heavy or stagnant

  • No. Lymphatic massage uses very light, rhythmic pressure, which allows lymph to move freely just beneath the skin. Deeper abdominal work and quicker strokes are incorporated during the Brazilian lymphatic drainage session to affect deep lymphatic ducts. While you will feel light and relaxed as you would after a massage, neither session will feel like a traditional massage.

  • Most people feel lighter, clearer, less puffy and more at ease in their body. You may also notice:

    • increased urination (normal)

    • improved digestion (detoxing)

    • a soft drop in stress

    • a “floating” or rested feeling

  • For general wellness: once a month or every 4-6 weeks.

    For hormonal balance or ongoing bloating: weekly or bimonthly until symptoms settle, then monthly maintenance.

    For contour-style Brazilian lymphatic: sessions can be booked as needed.
